Victory Venkatesh is known as a family actor. He selects stories that will appeal to the entire family. Most of his films are clean family entertainers. Venky also has a loyal fan following among the female audience.
Venkatesh has been adjudged as the Best Actor by the jury of the Nandi Awards committee. The award is for his performance in the film Adavaari Maatalaku Ardhalee Veerule. This is the fifth Nandi award for Venky. It is no surprise that all his four previous awards were for his work in family entertainers.
Venkatesh is elated to bag the award for the fifth time. He says that awards mean a lot to him and they put an additional responsibility on him. He needs to reach up to the expectations of the audience all the time.
Vankatesh thanked director Selvaraghavan and heroine Trisha for their contribution to the film.
