The bubbly Charmy is on cloud nine ever since she heard about the news of being chosen as the Best Actress for the year 2007 by the Nandi awards committee.
The award comes to her for her role in the film Manthra. It is now nearly a week since the announcement was made but it is yet to fully sink in for Charmy. She is naturally elated as she has been desperately waiting for an award for almost eight years now.
With the Nandi award in her kitty, Charmy now looks forward to her new films. She wants to do all kinds of films and all kinds of roles and not restrict herself to any one genre or be typecast.
