Sai Kiran Adavi debut directorial venture Vinayakudu released yesterday but got into contreversies on the first day itself. Hindu religion groups ABVP and Bhagarangdal yesterday strongly opposed hindu God’s name Vinayakudu for a romantic love story. They staged a dharna outside Venkatadri theatre, Dilshuknagar and also broke the glasses of the theatre. Later these organizations filed a complaint against the director and producer of Vinayakudu film in Saroornagar Police station.
Responding to this, the makers of Vinayakudu film said that the name has been selected almost eight months back and the romantic love story was being publisized through posters and trailors. They also asked that when these organizations didnt have any problem then, why should they have a problem now.
What ever it is and who ever is doing this (the makers themselves or some one else) Vinayakudu film is getting all the necessary hype and publicity required for its success.
