Recongnised as a successful director in Bollywood with ’Rangeela’, RamGopal Varma,grabbed the attention of corporate companies. Subsequently, in association with Sahara India Parivar and Adlabs, he started manufacturing movies in Bollywood through what he called as Varma Factory.
Similar to RamGopal Varma, who begun a different portrayal and narrative style through ’Siva’ in Tollywood, Shekhar Kammula turned the heads of corporate companies towards Tollywood with his first hit ’Anand’, which brought in freshness to Telugu Cinema. Like RGV, is Shekhar also heading to start a factory associating with corporate companies in Tollywood: to manufacture films? When this question is out, the people here in Telugu Industry are saying a definite ‘Yes’.
Presently, Telugu Cinema has expanded itself to international standards, and is garnering equal attention as that of Bollywood or Hollywood movies. The arrival of corporate companies into Tollywood started with Maheshbabu starrer ’Athidhi’. We sincerely wish that, continuing this trend, Shekhar Kammula should also start a cinema factory and present many more feel good films to the Telugu audience. Rock On Shekhar!!
