Don’t be surprised if the Sharath Kumar-starrer ‘1977’ would leave you gaping, finding yourself face-to-face with a ‘struggling’ Namitha. The lead lady, who obviously has developed excessive flesh around her waist line, is reportedly struggling with her dance movements and it is also heard that at a recent shooting schedule of ‘1977’, Namitha was completely off colour and couldn’t lift her legs and shake the hips in a song sequence.
The director then reportedly decided to just show off Namitha’s assets, making her emerge drenched from the sea-water instead of making her dance to taxing movements. And to help Namitha get rid of her ‘struggling’ part, the crew had to import Sandhya Shetty (of course, from Mumbai) to add a dash of fresh glamour to the film. The well-intentioned director perhaps doesn’t want to make his audience ‘struggle’. Poor Namitha!
