Srihari was born on 15th August 1964. His birthday was celebrated with great pomp at Savera Function Hall at Yousufguda. The event occurred amidst the fans thronged at the venue.Film ‘Poru’ in which Srihari played the lead was launched during the occasion. The film is directed by Amma Rajasekhar and produced by G.Srinivas Yadav and Y.Brahma Sekhar. Minister Mukesh Goud sounded the clap for the initial shot, B.S.N.V.Prasad has switched on the camera and the initial shot was directed by MP Anjan Kumar Yadav.
Speaking on the occasion Srihari said that he is highly excited having the film enacted by him, launched on the event of his birthday
