India is a land of traditions, primitive customs and practices. In spite of scientific advancements and reforms still in some places people believe in witches and sorcerers. Different names are used like ‘Banamati’, ‘Chetabadi’ Chillangi ’Hawa’ or ’evil eye’ or ’Halka’. Many movies were released in the past on ‘Banamati’ and ‘Chetabadi’ in tollywood even these primitive practices attracted Steven Spielberg for his film “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom” which was released in 1984.
Ram Gopal Varma School is planning to release the film “Raksha” revolving story around “Banamati” and “Chetabadi”. Movie goes with a pace on whether to believe or not and every shot in the film make viewers to lean forward from their Chairs. Presented by Ram Gopal Varma, Akella Vamsi Krisha a new director is directing the film under combination of One More Thought Entertainment and Z3 Pictures banners. Jagapatibabu, Kalyani , Baby Neha, Jayasudha, Rajeev Kanakala, Jeeva, Subbaraju, Radha Kumari, Master Atul, Pradeep Rawat, Chandrashekar, Bhargavi , Narsing Yadav are the main cast in the movie. Bobby Tutul scored the music.
