Aamir Khan's first directorial venture, Taare Zameen Par was selected as india's entry to the Oscars in best foriegn film catogery this year. Film Federation of India has selected nine films and the Jury headed by Suneel Darshan chose to send Taare Zameen Par to the Oscars to be awarded next Feb 2009.
Interestingly, From South only one film took place in the 9 films concerned for sending to Oscar.It was non other than krish's Gamyam.
