Rehman Wins Oscar Finally

AR Rehman becomes second Indian recipient of Academy Award. Earlier Satyajit Re received it when was sick and lying on bed.

Much talked about film ’Slumdog Millionaire’ has won six academy awards and here is the list:

1. Best Adapted Screenplay

2. Best Cinematography

3. Best Sound Mixing

4. Best Film Editing

5. Best Original Score and

6. Oscars Best Original Song.

AR Rahman has won two awards for his ’O Saya’ and ’Jai Ho…’ songs and for best original score for the same movie. Chris Dickens, the editor, Cinematographers Anthony Dod Mantle, screenwriters Simon Beaufoy have also bagged their awards for the same movie. On a whole Slumdog rocked entire world with bagful of awards.
