The AP High Court on Monday granted bail to B. Durga Prasad, son-in-law of Telugu film actor-cum-director M.S. Narayana in a case of blackmail and criminal breach of trust. Jubilee Hills police registered a case against Durga Prasad on the complaint of M.S. Narayana that his son-in-law had been blackmailing and threatening that he would jeopardize his film career.
The complainant alleged that the accused worked as personal manger to him for quiet some time and differences cropped in between the complainant and accused to a dispute between accused and daughter of the complainant. Later the accused taken away a dairy containing dates of call sheets given to various producers and started demanding Rs 50 lakhs for returning of dairy - Andhra Studio
