Pyramid Saimira who are marketing Kathanayakudu, all over the globe is trying to market it as a film based on friendship and is releasing it on Friendship's day weekend.(Friendship Day- August 3)

The movie will be released simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu across 900 screens worldwide.
