Mallika Sherawat - Naagin, the Snake Woman

Mallika Sherawat’s chilling Nagin makeover in the upcoming horror - thriller Hissss, directed by Jennifer Lynch, is sure to freak you out and leave you longing for the buxom serial kisser from the heartland of jaatland that we’ve grown to lust for.

Mallika co-stars in the film about the vengeance of naagin, the snake woman, with Irrfan Khan. The movie has been in news lately for its interesting amalgamation of top Hollywood technicians.

Briefly, here is the story line:

When George States (Jeff Douchette), a ruthless American, travels to the jungles of India and captures the mate of a Naagin who has been a legend for 4,000 years, she transforms into a stunningly attractive woman (Mallika Sherawat) with absolutely no clue about contemporary civilization or the ways of mankind, and ventures into the city in desperate search for her lover, with vengeance on her mind and venom in her fangs.

What follows is a chase at breakneck speed, with horrifying deaths, narrow escapes and special effects never seen before in India, as Vikram Gupta’s (Irrfan Khan) Clarice Starling chases down a beautiful sexy killer more dangerous, powerful and terrifying than Hannibal Lecter.

This is India’s Werewolf, Vampire, and Hannibal the Cannibal, who has an axe to grind with the villainous human race who has dared to desecrate her environment and capture her mate…

Hollywood director Jennifer, 40, wants to take the ancient Indian myth of a Naagin and transform it into a crackerjack thriller in the tradition of Silence of the Lambs and Predator.

She is assisted in her efforts by master technician Robert Kurtzman (Austin Powers: Goldmember (2002), Army of Darkness (1992), From Dusk Till Dawn (1996).

Special effects are the key to the movie Hissss and Robert Kurtzman is confident he is going to completely reinvent The Snake Woman and cause a revolution in India.

The Split Image Pictures and Venus production is scheduled to release sometime Mid- 2009.
