Story: Chintakayala Ravi (Venkatesh) works in a bar as a waiter in USA, but he bluffs his parents (Lakshmi and Chandramohan) that he is working as a software engineer. Ravi's mother looks out for a bride Mamidikayala Lavanya (Mamatha Mohandas), the daughter of a landlord (Shinde). Lavanya agrees to marry Ravi, as he is a SW engineer. Sunitha-Who lives in USA (Anushka) and lavanya are best buddies, and she reveals the secret that Ravi is a waiter in bar but not a SW engineer. The engagement between Lavanya and Ravi gets cancelled with that. What happens after the marriage gets broken?? Forms the rest of the film.

Performances: Venky is good as usual and suited to the age bar Guy image. Anushka and Mamatha are o.k. as heroines. Brahmanandam, Ali, Sunil, Venu madhav and all the comedy stars are wasted. The Story and Dialogues by Kona venkat have nothing new to offer. The Cinematography and editing are o.k. The Music by Vishal Shekar was good. The Screenplay is poor. The direction is also mediocre.

Analysis:
Venky: He is absolutely at home with much ease in these kind of Subjects. Venky uses his typical comic expressions. The first half solely runs on venky’s presence only. venky wears all the American Brands to look Young and cool. He emoted well in the Sentiment Scenes also.
There is no big scope for Anushka and Mamatha Mohandas to give out noted performances, as their roles are limited. Lakshmi continued her over active sentimental performance but the director is successful in limiting her to a few scenes.
Venkatesh did some good comedy in the first half of the movie but most of the comedy from all other comedians (Brahmanandam, Ali, Venumadhav, Sunil, Dharmavarapu, MS Narayana) is old and outdated. Surprisingly Ajay impresses with his small role. Songs and the picturisation is just OK. 'Bagundhe' with Venky and Anushka is pretty good. “Shava Shava” Song has a special Appearance of Jr. NTR. “Nahi Chodungaa” song pumps up some kick to the Audiences who are in dull/sleepy mood. Some scenes in the Second half are pretty routine and predictable, Mostly inspired from karan Johar/yash Chopra films. The HUM TUM (Love Expressing) scene has come out well.
The Cinematography was good and explored the abroad locales well. The Editing is o.k. The Movie is bit lengthy (nearly 2hr-45minutes)- A 15-minute editing is needed. The Dialogues are normal. A better story and Dialogues by Kona venkat could have helped the film instead. The screenplay is very slow. The slow Screenplay and narration allows you to yawn sometimes. The Music by Vishal-Sekhar is good and fresh to telugu Cinema. The background Score is o.k. The Direction is routine. The first half is very slow ,the movie picks momentum only in the middle of second half.

It is more or less Shankar Dada MBBS with another backdrop and poor comedy. There is not enough comedy compared to any of the previous Venkatesh's movies. Chintakayala Ravi is not a better picture (if not equal) than Venky’s last year release “Thulasi”.
There are no big films slated for release and it’s festive season allover. Venky has a strong family Audience bank-We have to wait and see how they receive this Average Flick.

Plus: Music, Venky
Minus: Routine Venky’s Sentiment and comedy genre

Verdict: Pretty Average Flick—Offers nothing new except refreshingly New Music
