'Star' Wars in Tollywood!!!

It appears that the arrival of Megastar Chiranjeevi into politics will create a Tsunami not just in the political camps of major parties like Congress, TDP but it will also have a major impact on the film industry as well. It is heard that many of those long lost actors who entered into politics and have retired are now taking the rust out of their knives to jump back into the fire.

Take for instance Jayasudha who has been trying to get her way through into Congress and the party that has not been that receptive of film folk has now embraced them with open arms. The inclusion of Rajasekhar and Jeevitha is a classic example, also the renewed relationships with Superstar Krishna which indirectly loops in 'Prince' Mahesh Babu into the camp. And then there are the original followers like Dasari Narayana Rao who has a fair amount of influence in the film circuit. On the other hand there are disgruntled folk like Mohan Babu who have been waiting to get their chance to strike back at TDP and Chiru .

While this is one side of the story, the TDP has already started building up its ammunition in the form of the Nandamuri clan and leading from the front is Nandamuri Balakrishna with all his support from NTR Jr, Kalyan Ram, Harikrishna and others. On the ladies end, there is firebrand Roja who has now become more of a politician and knows the tricks of the trade. Balayya has his own share of followers and this will become a litmus test for folks like Aswini Dutt, K Raghavendra Rao who have good ties with both sides of the party.

Last but not the least, Chiru who may not have the charm of the legendary NTR but has enough appeal that no other star has got has been playing his cards carefully and piling up his artillery very well. He has enough presence on the circuit with support from Ramcharan Teja, Allu Arjun, Nagababu and Power Star Pawan Kalyan. With the master mind Allu Aravind behind them there seems to be a lot of octane that is being kept in store for the big battle.

In all this, the major affected victims in the film industry who have a sword hanging over their head either ways since they cannot mess with Chiru or face the heat from Balakrishna and TDP. With each passing day, the twists and turns of the game are getting more complicated and it will take a while before the clouds clear and you get to know who is on whose side.
