A few days back, Rajini flew to America for 'Robot' shooting. Hardly had he landed then there was a call from his fan club manager Sathyanarayana.
In the scene where R Sundarrajan asks Rajini some questions in 'Kuselan,' the answers given by him have unsettled some of his fans and caused dissatisfaction amidst district fan club leaders. If these scenes are not removed, the film will slide down further, said Sathyanarayana.
Rajini thought he could handle this from the US but the next call got him back to Chennai day before yesterday. That was because of the news that 'Kuselan' distributors have undergone great losses.
To appease his fans, Rajini requested director P Vasu to remove the particular scene from the film. Vasu obliged Rajini and told all theatre operators to snip away the conversation scene and this, it is hoped, would surely assuage the feelings of Rajini fans.
Rajini next heard the woes of the distributors. From his fee of 20 crores, Rajini made arrangements to give 10 crores to the distributors to make good the losses incurred by them.
