Shraddha in Mantra sequel

Shraddha Das seems to be a sequel specialist. Close on the heels of bagging a key role in Arya 2, the svelte actress will be essaying the title role in Diary, a sequel to hit film Mantra.

I am very happy to do it,” reveals the actress, who is doing a suspense thriller for the first time. Actor Sivaji and the bungalow will be seen again in the sequel, according to producer Kalyanram Chukka.

Director M Ramakrishna promises a nail-biting thriller. Interestingly, the leggy lass is surging ahead despite a dud like Sidhu from Sikakulam. It seems that luck is on her side now. - (TNN)

Ileana desperate to make her sister an actress

Ileana, the svelte beauty is said to be a desperate girl in making her sister an actress. Already according to sources she has recommended her younger sister’s name to MS Raju who is considering her recommended candidate for his next movie.

Some close sources close to Ileana say that the beautiful lady compelled her sister to do a hot photo shoot and is circulating the album to many big studious such as Ramanaidu and Annapoorna studios. Recently, Ileana recommended her sister name to Nagarjuna and said that she can consider her sister as a perfect match to his son Naga Chaitanya’s debut film. But the recommendation failed and so the pretty lady was disappointed.

But it is a fact that Ileana’s sister lacks the glow and charm on her face and is purely unfit to become an actress. The goa beauty recently advised her sister to try out some treatments in London for which the sister is said to be preparing.

Asin Has a Fight With Aamir!!!

This is not a usual thing where a new entrant gets to loggerheads with a very senior and highly popular actor but then news from Bollywood circles say that something like that has just happened. The stars we are talking about is the hot Malayalam beauty Asin with Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan!!!

Apparently, Asin is the leading lady for the film 'Ghajini' in Hindi and she has been on contract with the makers that there would be no media interactions till the movie hits the screens. But then it has been two years since the movie has been dragging on and the film has been getting delayed due to Aamir's injury and other problems. Now, Asin seems to have got to the saturation point.

There is news that Asin had a big showdown with Aamir since she needed that space to interact with the media and had to move on since big movie makers were trying to reach her. Though Aamir looks a bit surprised given Asin's shrewdness, this is a rather risky take this pretty girl is going for since this is her first movie in Hindi. - (greatandhra)

Mani calls Suhasini

Suhasini is happy and excited. Her film review programme on Jaya TV is turning out to be very popular, especially among female audiences.

Last week, she got an opportunity to act with Malayalam actor Sreenivasan and his son Vineeth in Achante Magan, a comedy film where she plays the role of Sreenivasan’s wife. While she was shooting in Palakkad for the film, she got a call from her hubby Mani Ratnam (who was shooting in Chalakudy) to do a cameo role in his Ravana.

A happy and contented Suhasini says,”I was waiting for this call for a long time. At least now my husband remembers me as an actress! I hope I live up to his expectations.” - (TNN)

This heroine sometimes eats uncooked Maggie or Cerelac

I love to cook and try new dishes at home. I like healthy, tasty food. But chocolates are something I cannot resist. Whenever I’m in a bad mood or am tired, I binge on a bar of Dairy Milk or a chocolate souffle. I resist strange combinations but if I am very hungry, I have Heinz tomato ketchup with roti. Sometimes I also eat uncooked Maggie or Cerelac. I cook more of Continental dishes. Once when I was hungry, I had made an exotic mixed vegetable dish with mushrooms, bell pepper, Tofu, tomatoes and salad onions and ate it with wheat bread. It was very tasty. I also make tea with mint leaves. It’s very refreshing.

I am very fond of fish. Soya wine fish at Fusion9 Grill room is a must try. The taste of fish with wine is a completely new experience. I also like the fish parsley sauce served at Aromas of China. But smelly salmons and brinjal are the two things I like to stay away from.

My aunt, grandmother and mother are very good cooks. My grandmother’s Chintakaya Pachadi (imli chutney) I never miss eating. Italian cuisine is my favourite and Little Italy is the place I usually go to. I’m passionate about pizzas available there, especially rice pizzas. The tandoori fish in Mumbai and the sarso da saag in Delhi are the most memorable dishes I’ve ever had.

I also like trying local cuisines abroad. In Dubai, I had eaten Mughlai food with roti, which I still fondly remember. It was just a small eatery but the food was really good. However, in Singapore I had a bitter experience, thanks to my habit of trying local food. We had ordered a dish, which was a semi-boiled smelly fish. I love street food like chaats. My favourite is paani puri and ragada samosa.
